We invite you to a series of intimate gatherings held at the National Museum in Kraków, aimed at carers with very young children.
This is an opportunity for those who wish to reconnect with art or maintain that connection whilst caring for a child — without rushing, without pressure, and without the need to arrange childcare.
During the sessions, adults are the main participants. Babies can sleep, be fed, observe their surroundings or simply be present — in an atmosphere of acceptance and calm. We ensure the comfort of both children and carers, creating a safe space for us to be together.
Each session is a mindful, unhurried encounter with art. Instead of many objects, we choose one or two works to linger over — we talk, look, and search for meanings and emotions. It is a time for a moment’s respite, reflection, and meeting other adults.
The gallery is adapted to the needs of carers with young children — equipped with a lift, a nappy-changing area and basic amenities such as a bottle warmer and play mats. However, we encourage you to remain mobile — a baby carrier or sling may be helpful, as they will make it easier to move freely around the museum.
During the event, children remain under the care of their carers — the organisers do not provide childcare during the event.
