MNK Main Building
The National Museum in Kraków invites young and old alike to spend quality family time surrounded by art. Exploring together teaches us about the world and helps us get to know one another better. Our galleries and gardens in the heart of the city are the perfect place for you!
In May 2026, together with the Kijów Cinema, we have a special promotion for you. As part of the ‘Head to the Museum’ campaign, promoting cultural institutions’ activities for families and children from 1 May 2026 to 31 May 2026, we are introducing a promotional admission price, replacing standard and concession tickets for exhibitions in the MNK Main Building in Kraków: 11 PLN, valid for all exhibitions in the branch:
Promotional tickets do not entitle the holder to additional admission to exhibitions at other branches of the MNK.
Tickets can only be purchased at the ticket office of the MNK Main Building, upon handing over a ticket from the Kijów Cinema to the MNK cashiers (one ticket from the Kijów Cinema for a film screening between 1 May 2026 and 31 May 2026 entitles the holder to purchase one MNK ticket). Promotional admission tickets are valid only for the duration of the promotion, i.e. from 1 May 2026 to 31 May 2026. The promotion cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts and does not apply to combined tickets.
Time spent together experiencing art and an adventure for the imagination. We invite you to a multi-sensory tour of the MNK’s exhibitions and galleries in the company of an educator.
… are available online on our website, in the online bookshop and at the ticket offices of selected branches. Ask what’s new – it’s worth checking out!
During organised group sessions for children and young people, supervision is provided by an experienced team of educators.
Every Tuesday, the MNK’s permanent galleries are free for all visitors, and on every other day, a ticket to the permanent exhibitions for children and school pupils up to the age of 26 costs 1 zloty.
Kijów Cinema is open to all audiences, but families and children hold a special place in our programme. We offer our youngest viewers attractive screenings of films and animations for children. We keep up with the latest releases but also don’t forget the gems of the genre’s classics. Every day, you’ll find several screenings dedicated to children and young people. The series we organise for the summer and winter holidays, as well as special events for Children’s Day and St Nicholas’ Day, are an opportunity for great fun, but they also broaden horizons, entertain and educate.
