The Metal and Weapons Conservation Studio is one of the oldest conservation studios at the National Museum in Krakow – extant since 1906. It is engaged in the comprehensive renovation of historic metal objects , including reconstruction work. The studio specializes in the conservation of objects made of mixed materials, e.g. military artefacts or decorative arts.

Conservation procedures are performed on an ongoing basis for objects in the Department of Military Collections and the Department of Decorative Arts of the National Museum in Krakow.
