Internships and work placements

If you are a student at a vocational school, secondary school, or a university student, you can complete an internship or a student placement at the National Museum in Krakow.


School and university student placements

The placement offer at the NMK is addressed to students of vocational schools or secondary schools, as well as to university students.

Requirements for the placement

  • a draft agreement and a referral or consent from the school/university to complete the placement
  • personal accident insurance for the duration of the placement

If we have vacancies, we will contact you.

We will propose a department where you can complete your volunteering or placement and find a supervisor for you. Next, we will sign the relevant documents and direct you to the required training.


Professional internships financed by the employment office or co-financed by European Union funds

Who can apply for a professional internship at the MNK?

Persons entitled to complete this type of internship according to separate applicable regulations may apply for admission to the internship.

What’s next?

If we have vacancies, we will invite the candidate for an interview with the head of the organizational unit where the internship could take place. Following a positive review of the application and a positive review of the request by the financing institution, an internship or vocational training agreement is concluded.
