Thanks to funding from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, a collection of garments designed by Gosia Baczyńska has been added to the holdings of the National Museum in Kraków.

Gosia Baczyńska is one of the most outstanding Polish fashion designers working in the 21st century. Her versatility, creativity and sensitivity enable her to create exceptionally original garments. The designer’s intellectual interests lead her to draw inspiration from history, literature and politics. She is open to new technologies and materials. The exhibition will showcase over a dozen creations from Gosia Baczyńska’s most significant collections, including ‘Wielkie Pranie’, ‘Balladyna’, ‘I Feel Love’ (presented during Paris Fashion Week in 2013), ‘Yalta’ and ‘Frankenstein Dream’.

Co-funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund – a state-funded special-purpose fund.
