Offer for students

We invite groups of students and their teachers to attend a presentation on the work of the MNK Education Department or to take a guided tour of our permanent or temporary exhibitions.

1. Presentation of the activities of the MNK Education Department

Running a multi-departmental museum presents challenges on many fronts, and developing museum education is the art of combining subject-specific knowledge with pedagogical expertise. How is an educational programme for an exhibition developed? Who creates it and how is the target audience selected? These are questions that are not always obvious.

We invite anyone interested in the creation of educational programmes and the workings of the Education Department to attend meetings with its staff. During the session, we will lift the veil on what this process looks like at the oldest and largest National Museum in Poland. The session consists of a presentation on the activities of the Education Department and a short workshop in the Gallery of Artistic Crafts or in the 20th + 21st Century Gallery of Polish Art.

2. Guided tours of permanent and temporary exhibitions

• Duration: 60–90 minutes
• Price: gallery admission ticket + guide service: PLN 150 in Polish, PLN 200 in a foreign language at the following branches: Permanent exhibitions at the branches: Atma, MNK Matejko House, MNK Mehoffer House, MNK Wyspiański Museum, MNK Szołayski House: Objects. Gallery of 20th and 21st Century Polish Design, Cross-Sections. Gallery of 20th and 21st Century Polish Architecture, Bishop Erazm Ciołek’s Palace: Gallery of Old Polish Art. 12th–18th Century, Gallery of Orthodox Church Art of the Old Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, MNK Czapski Palace, Józef Czapski Pavilion, MNK Arsenal: Weapons and Uniforms
• 170 PLN in Polish, 250 PLN in a foreign language at the following branches: MNK Czartoryski Museum, Gallery of 19th-Century Polish Art in MNK Sukiennice, MNK Main Building: 20th + 21st Century Gallery of Polish Art, Gallery of Artistic Crafts + at temporary exhibitions.
• Between 24 December 2026 and 27 December 2026, and between 1 January 2027 and 3 January 2027, we do not offer guided tours on request.
• Guided tours between 28 December and 31 December 2026 will be available only to organised groups that have booked a tour by 22 December 2026.
