Sunday sensory tours for families with children are a chance to experience art. We invite you to a multi-sensory tour of the exhibitions and galleries of the National Museum in Kraków, accompanied by an educator. Family tours allow both children and adults to explore the exhibition in a way that suits them best. It is an opportunity to discuss, laugh and dream together.
We invite carers with children aged 6–10 to join us for a walk together, during which you’ll be able to touch, try on and smell the educational props; younger or older siblings are also welcome to join.
The tours are family-oriented — children and carers discover art together, working side by side. It is not possible to leave children unattended or to stray from them during the tour. Carers are responsible for the safety and appropriate behaviour of children in the Museum.
Why did MNK Wyspiański draw with pastels? Why were his native nature and landscapes so close to the artist’s heart? How does a stained-glass window differ from polychromy? Do you already know? And if not, we invite you to a Sunday guided tour for families with children, which will be an unforgettable journey into the studio of this outstanding artist.
During the session, we’ll look at the world through coloured glass, have fun deciphering patterns and plant motifs, gaze upon Wawel Hill through the eyes of our imagination, and listen to the sound of Sigismund’s Bell.
