Currently, the number of items collected by the Museum stands at almost 1.2 million. Each one is unique and tells a one-of-a-kind story \u2013 sometimes moving, sometimes turbulent, and often one that is hard to believe. And although not all artefacts can be viewed in exhibitions on a daily basis, each one is valuable and important. They form the foundation of the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w, which is thus a place full of treasures, extraordinary stories and people with passion and commitment who, for many years, have been making the collection accessible and caring for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection of the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w comprises priceless works of art, such as paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, textiles, costumes, artefacts of artistic craftsmanship and material culture, books, magazines and an impressive numismatic collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
