A film in PJM: \u2018About the Museum\u2019<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The MNK Accessibility Section handles both individual and group requests for Polish Sign Language <\/strong>interpretation of guided tours or events organised by the MNK. Please book in advance, ideally at least 7 days before your planned visit. Please make your booking by email at: dostepnosc@mnk.pl or by text message to 609 430 129.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MNK has individual induction loops and a portable suitcase-style induction loop.<\/strong> This means that events held within the Museum can be made accessible to people with hearing impairments on request. Please notify us of your intention to attend a selected event at least 5 working days before your planned visit by sending an email to dostepnosc@mnk.pl or a text message to 609 430 129.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Permanent induction loops<\/strong> are located in the conference rooms in the MNK Main Building and the MNK Czapski Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audio guides with a Polish Sign Language track<\/strong> are available at MNK Czartoryscy and MNK Wyspia\u0144ski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have prepared videos in Polish Sign Language presenting our branches.<\/strong> This is the result of collaboration between the MNK Accessibility Section and the Janusz Korczak Special Educational Centre for the Deaf<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In collaboration with the Ma\u0142opolska branch of the Polish Association of the Deaf, we have filmed videos in Polish Sign Language inviting deaf people to visit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We invite you to visit the Mi\u0119dzy Uszami Foundation\u2019s virtual museum<\/strong>, where Deaf people can view a selection of works of art. The content is divided into three sections: painting, literature and miscellaneous arts. These include videos with a Polish Sign Language (PJM) narrator<\/strong> discussing each work. The scripts for the videos were created by specialists from the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w, which was a partner in the project. At the same time, a large number of the works discussed are exhibits held in various branches of the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discounts for people with disabilities at the MNK<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Concessionary tickets<\/strong> are available to people with disabilities and their carers who are citizens of the Member States of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation and the Member States of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) \u2013 parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The document confirming eligibility for the concession is an ID card certifying the disability or degree of disability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the nationwide Large Family Card and the Krak\u00f3w Family Card 3+, free admission is granted to pupils or students holding a certificate of moderate disability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holders of the Krak\u00f3w Family Card with a child with disabilities are entitled to free admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
