The National Museum in Krakow is a cultural institution with over 140 years of tradition. The NMK team cares for over a million museum objects. The institution’s tasks include, among others, the acquisition, safeguarding, and conservation of historical objects. The Museum conducts exhibition and educational activities aimed at a wide audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To fulfill the museum’s mission, a diverse team consisting of specialists from many fields is essential. The people working at the NMK are passionate individuals, often associated with this place for many years, who know the institution, its collection, and its history inside out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Museum in Krakow is an interesting and diverse workplace, offering opportunities for comprehensive action and development. The NMK team consists of about 600 employees in over a dozen branches located in Krakow and Zakopane. Employees, collaborators, interns, students on placement, and volunteers of the NMK support the institution’s mission in various ways, and each of them is an important part of the museum community.
