The exhibition design was awarded the Grand Prix in the public interior category.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sybilla 2023<\/strong>\u2013 Honourable Mention for the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w for the project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>DIXIT MNK: promoting the collections of the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w<\/em> in the Education category, and an honourable mention for the exhibition Arms and Colours \u2013 a permanent exhibition at the MNK Arsenal of the Czartoryski Museum in the New and Modernised Permanent Exhibitions category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Icebreakers 2024<\/strong>: The National Museum in Krakow won first place and the Icebreaker statuette as the winner of the Lublin, Ma\u0142opolska, <a href=\"https:\/\/mnk.pl\/artykul\/lodolamacze-2024\">P<\/a>odkarpacie and \u015awi\u0119tokrzyskie Regional Gala of the Icebreakers 2024 Competition in the category: Socially Responsible Employer \u2013 Sustainable Business Development (CSR\/ESG), and subsequently first prize in the nationwide Icebreakers 2024 competition \u2013 recognising the MNK as a public institution that has introduced and consistently implemented a mission of social responsibility in its activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Joachim Lelewel Honorary Award<\/strong> was awarded to the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w for its outstanding contribution to museum activities \u2013 21st Congress of Polish Historians in Bia\u0142ystok.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sybilla 2022<\/strong> \u2013 Conservation and protection of cultural heritage \u2013 project: <em>The Engravings of Joachim Lelewel. A catalogue of Lelewel\u2019s print plates and engravings from the collections of the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Polonia Minor Gold Medal<\/strong> for the MNK Matejko House \u2013 a branch of the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w. The award was presented to the institution on the occasion of its 125th anniversary, in recognition of its contribution to promoting the life and work of Jan Matejko, one of the most outstanding Polish and European painters of the second half of the 19th century.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cGiants of Culture 2023\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Category: \u201cCultural Event\u201d. The joint nomination won \u2013 the exhibitions \u201cTamara \u0141empicka \u2013 A Woman on a Journey\u201d (National Museum in Lublin) and \u201c\u0141empicka\u201d (National Museum in Krakow), presenting the work of an independent artist who created the image of the modern, successful woman.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Centenary of Regained Independence Medal<\/strong> was awarded to the director of the National Museum in Krak\u00f3w, Prof. Andrzej Szczerski.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2022<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Award for the best-edited book in the first \u2018Museum Book of the Year\u2019 competition, for the publication by Beata Romanowicz, *Hokusai.
